There's something about writing. About putting words on paper, single words, that once they're put together create something beautiful.

I knew I wanted to be a magazine editor since I started my journalism degree. Now everyday I get to live that dream. I started at Reader's Digest as an intern for Taste of Home cookbooks.
From composing marketing back-cover copy with Mom’s Best Made Easy, to writing editorial pieces published in the Comfort Foods Diet Cookbook and organizing content and overseeing layout designs for Pillsbury Christmas 2009, I gained many valuable skills.

In August 2010, I was hired on full-time to the Home & Garden team of Reader's Digest, as an assistant digital editor.

I blog regularly for Birds & Blooms; and share some of my first-ever gardening endeavors with our fans. Every day I feel lucky to be where I'm at, and I couldn't ask for anything more.
